A Must - The Shed

Image result for the shed santa fe
The Shed - is a must for lunch or dinner for the age of the building alone. The adobe hacienda that houses this restaurant dates back to 1692. The doorways are tiny and the people must have been very small. It is family-owned for generations. It is truly a piece of history. The wait can be very long. Their green chili can be too hot, so fair warning. They grind their farm-fresh chili on the premises.
The courtyard is quite lovely. It's hidden but everyone knows where to find it, it's also right off plaza so you can put your name in & still walk around.

  1. I think the colors are great and it looks like a nice place to visit. It is also nice to know that historical sites like this are not being torn down.

  2. I love the colors too!! I would love to have a kitchen that is filled with color. I think I must be a little New Mexican or Latin American at heart.

  3. Green Chili sounds great for a cold day such as today! I had no idea this historical place was there, I see that you mention it's either a Mexican or Latin food eatery. It does look very inviting and the smaller food places are normally the best ones, I'll have to go and check them out sometime
